Till Death Us Do Part: Fifty Years of Vintage Wedding Style will be held at Highwic 1862 from 14th May to the 30th June 2017.

Miss Havisham's Day Out
Wear your wedding dress once again (or wear one for the first time if you've never had the chance!), play irreverent wedding games like bouquet tossing, enter the White Wedding Lip Synch Battle, win prizes and enjoy a creepy wedding food table display. Miss Havisham's life never looked so fun!
Wear a wedding dress and get into the exhibition for free, otherwise normal entry fee of $8.00 applies. Afternoon tea will be available for purchase in the Billiard Room.

The Great One Hundred and Under Vintage Clothing Sale
Come and grab yourself a vintage bargain at the best second hand sale of the year!
Glory Days and the exhibition team will be selling off their personal collections of vintage and retro clothing and accessories from the 1930s - 1980s and a sprinkling of vintage inspired pieces at bargain basement $100 and under prices, so bring your cash, marvel at the gorgeous wedding gowns and purchase your own piece of fashion history.
Entry to the exhibition and sale is $8.00 which goes directly to maintaining the gorgeous gothic mansion Highwic!

What's Love Got to Do With It? Marriage, Feminism and the Space in Between
Do feminism and marriage go together like a horse and carriage? Michele A’Court, Alex Casey and Leonie Hayden from On The Rag podcast at The Spinoff will host a round table discussion on wedding fever, married life and how feminism fits into the picture.

Join textile historian Angela Lassig and curator Rose Jackson in conversation, about treasuring hunting for vintage, discovering the secret history of New Zealand wedding designers and wrangling unruly mannequins to prepare for the exhibition, Till Death Us Do Part - Fifty Years of Vintage Wedding Style.
Tickets are only $10 which includes entry into the exhibition, a seat at the talk in the Billiard House and afternoon tea with Dilmah and scones.
