For fans of beautiful design and elegant fashion, Napier's Art Deco Festival, hosted by the Art Deco Trust in February each year, is an unmissably riotous five day celebration of the influential style movement, held in one of the most complete authentic Art Deco architectural town centres in the world. We liken it to being transported onto the set of a silver screen era film, such is the immersive nature of the festival! The 2020 Art Deco Festival is on from the 19th - 23rd February and had hundreds of activities in its five day programme, from Art Deco Apple Pie Contests and Deco Dog Parades to Soap Box Derbies and everything else in between!
